Retired Ways of Earning SB.

Over time Swagbucks has added and removed ways of earning digital points called SB. While I haven’t recorded all of these, below are some of the ways of earning SB that are no longer available or function properly. I’ve copied the final entry for the topic and pasted it below.

No Obligation Special Offers – NOSO (Removed)

Each day be sure to check out the “No Obligation Offers”, (Normally abbreviated NOSO) because at the end you will find a reward! NOSO’s are another easy way to earn an extra two SB each day. These offers are updated daily and often feature brand names. The best part about NOSO is exactly as the name suggests, there is no obligation to sign up! Plus, if you ever do find yourself wanting to sign up for one, you will never be asked for your credit card number or be required to pay for anything. If you don’t like the offer, simply click next or skip at the bottom of the page.

After a few offers you will be asked to type in a phrase or Captcha to earn your SB! (To verify that you are human and not a bot).  Once you get your points, just come back the next day to earn a few more. You can check your daily earning checklist on the Swagbucks homepage to see if you’ve earned your NOSO bucks for the day. The points add up over time, so make sure you do it every day!

Toolbar (Now SwagButton)

The Swagbucks Toolbar was the predecessor of the SwagButton, however rather than a browser extension, it was a toolbar that was installed.

Trade-In (Removed)

Do you have old video games or old books sitting around gathering dust? well, another way to earn SB is by trading in your old video games, consoles, and books that you no longer want. How many SB you will receive all dependent on what you are trading in. From the Swagbucks homepage click Earn, then Trade in from the menu or click one of the links above to learn more about your specific item. (Each process is a little different and varies by product, which makes it harder to outline)

Prize Photos (Removed)

Once you’ve received a prize from Swagbucks, you can earn even more SB by sending a photo of yourself and your Swag Store prize to prizephoto@swagbucks.com. You can send and be rewarded for up to five prize photos. Within roughly 3 week 10 SB should be deposited into your Swagbucks account.

You can also be rewarded for sending in a video of you unboxing and opening your prize Swagbucks. Simply upload it to YouTube, then email the link to prizephoto@swagbucks.com and Swagbucks will eventually deposit 20 Swag Bucks into your account!

Random Winner (Semi-Removed)

On the right side underneath the daily earning checklist there is the Hourly Random Winner. Every hour Swagbucks randomly chooses a winner who is logged in to earn 1,000 SB. If your name is listed, simple click “Claim your bucks” button to be rewarded! (The only place that I can currently find this box is on the Swagbucks Blog, The Daily Swag, on the right hand side.)

Social Earning (Removed)

Swagbucks has an extremely active community on the different social network platforms. They often try to reward their users to make it a much better community! While there are current activities that are rewarded, some previous ways include…

Facebook: Trivia, Hangman, and Name That Item.

Twitter: Twitter Tuesday Phrase That Pays, Twitter Trivia, and Hashtag Hookups.

Blog: Swagbucks Book Club and Comment Hookup.

Read more about these on the Swagbucks blog.
